St. Thomas police looking for sleepy intruder

St. Thomas police are looking for a suspect who broke into a business, but only took a nap.

Police were called to the unnamed business in the city's industrial area on Friday to investigate a report of a stranger sleeping inside the building. It was determined the person had broken into the building's office area and set up a place to sleep.

By the time officers arrived, the person had left.

No damage was reported and no property was stolen, police said.

The investigation is ongoing.
