Wanted Toronto man may be in London area

Toronto police say a man wanted for sexual assault has been known to frequent the London area.

Police began looking two weeks ago into an incident that took place on July 4, 2023, in the Scarborough area. Investigators say the man entered the victim's home and sexually assaulted her.

Eddie Warner, 51, is wanted for assault and sexual assault.

He is described as a Black male, 6' 2", 210 pounds, with a black receding hairline.

Police have said that Warner was known to frequent the Windermere Road and Adelaide Street North area in London.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts should call Toronto police at (416) 808-4100. Anonymous tips may be submitted to Crime Stoppers at (416) 222-TIPS (8477).

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
