Charge laid in crash that killed London man

More than three weeks after a crash east of the city that left a London man dead, a charge of dangerous driving has been laid against a 21-year-old.

Emergency crews were called to the two-vehicle collision at the the intersection of Pigram Road and Salford Road in South-West Oxford Township around 6:45 p.m. on May 2.

A 48-year-old London man was taken to hospital, where he later died from his injuries. Another person was sent to hospital with injuries deemed minor.

Following a lengthy investigation, police announced charges against one of the drivers on Tuesday.

A 21-year-old Beachville man is charged with one count of dangerous driving causing death.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
