One person is dead and another hurt following a two-vehicle crash in Zorra Township on Thursday afternoon.
Officers from the OPP's Oxford detachment were called at around 3 p.m. to the intersection of Road 96 and the 37th Line, where an SUV and a motorcycle collided.
The motorcyclist, a 65-year-old from Dorchester, was rushed to hospital and pronounced dead soon after. Their identity has not been released.
The driver of the SUV was checked out for minor injuries.
Oxford County Fire Services and Oxford County Paramedic Services also responded to the incident.
The OPP's Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement (TIME) team is working with the Oxford detachment officers on the investigation.
Sections of Road 96 and 37th Line were closed for over four hours. All roads have since reopened.
