Dvorak Named OHL Player of the Week

For the second week in a row, a member of the London Knights has been named the OHL's Player of the Week.

A week after Max Domi was selected for the honour, teammate Christian Dvorak was announced as the winner for the week ending December 14.

In three games last week, Dvorak had six goals and six assists.

The 18-year-old Illinois-native had two goals and two assists in London's 5-2 win over Sarnia on Thursday. On Friday, he had a hat trick and two assists as the Knights beat Plymount 6-4 at Budweiser Gardens. He finished the week with a goal and two assists in the Knight's 5-2 win over Peterborough.

The 2014 second pick of the Arizona Coyotes is fourth in OHL scoring with 53 points in 30 games.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
