Tkachuk Commits To Knights

The London Knights will have a gold medal winner in the line-up next season.

It was announced Friday that Matthew Tkachuk has committed to the Knights. The 17-year-old was the 4th round pick in the 2013 OHL Priority Selection.

Tkachuk was a member of Team USA's U17 gold medal team last season and Team USA's U18 gold medal team this spring.

The St. Louis native will join the Knights in late-August for training camp and will wear number seven in the upcoming OHL season. He is the oldest son of former NHL player Keith Tkachuk.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
