Knights Draft Juolevi And Bernhardt

The London Knights Hockey Club has picked up two new players in the 2015 CHL Import Draft.

General Manager Basil McRae selected defenceman Olli Juolevi from Finland and winger Daniel Bernhardt from Sweden.

Juolevi played last season with Jokerit's U20 team. He had six goals and 26 assists in 44 games. The defenceman also played for Finland at the 2014 Ivan Hlinka Memorial tournament.

Bernhardt was drafted this past weekend by the New York Rangers in the 4th round (119th overall) of the 2015 NHL Entry Draft. He plays both left and right wing. Last season, Bernhardt played 44 games with Djurgarden U20, scoring 26 goals and racking up 35 assists.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
