London Majors Defeat Kitchener Panthers 11-10

Both teams got the bats working in Kitchener Thursday night, but the London Majors pulled out the win,beating the Panthers 11-10.

London reliever Jordan Skavinsky picked up his first win while Panthers reliever Noelvis Entenza was tagged with the loss, the first this season for the Panthers.

Majors batters Michael Ambrose and Taylor Carr combined for three runs with back to back home runs in the second to take the lead, and then followed up with a three run inning in the third after a two run home run by Mike Ambrose.

Kitchener's bats were busy as well, with David Whiteside starting with a three run home run followed by a double to score two by Jonathan Brouse and a single to score one by Tanner Nivins.

In the 9th Byron Reichstein’s double allowed two more runs and sealed the deal for the Majors.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
