Knights Down Battalion 8-3

The London Knights won their fourth straight game with a 8-3 victory over the North Bay Battalion on Friday.

Owen MacDonald, Max Jones and JJ Piccinich all scored in the first period to give the Knights a 3-0 lead in the first period.

The Battalion tied things up with three goals of their own in the second, but London was able to retake the lead thanks to Liam Foudy and Janne Kuokkanen who both scored to make it 5-3.  The Knights held off North Bay in the third, with Sam Mileti, Robert Thomas and Cliff Pu all scoring to cap off London's win.

London goaltender Tyler Parsons made 37 saves out of 40 shots on net.

The Knights head to the Meridian Centre to take on the Niagara IceDogs on Saturday at 7pm.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
