Attack Hammer Knights 6-1

The London Knights couldn't withstand the Owen Sound Attack on Friday, falling 6-1 at Budweiser Gardens.

The Attack drew first blood with a goal 15:34 into the game, but Cliff Pu was able to tie things up for London with a goal early in the second.

However, Owen Sound retook the lead with two more goals before the third to make it 3-1. The Attack continued their assault on London by scoring three back-to-back unanswered goal in the final frame to earn the win.

Despite the loss, London outshot Owen Sound 30-27.

The Knights head to Kingston on Sunday to battle the Frontenacs. The puck will drop at 2pm.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
