Jr. hockey wrap-up – March 6, 2019

The Sarnia Legionnaires have been eliminated from the playoffs following a 4-2 loss to the LaSalle Vipers in Game 4 on Wednesday.

Brett Vorshuk led LaSalle with two goals, while Aaron Shaw and Zane Dalpe each scored once.

The Vipers swept the Legionnaires 4-0 in the best of seven series.

LaSalle will now move on to the western conference semi-finals.

James Turner led the London Nationals in a 6-2 victory to eliminate the St. Thomas Stars in Game 5.

Turner scored a hat-trick for London, while Wes Dobbin, Josh Castle and Christian Polillo each scored once.

London won the best of seven series 4-1.

The Nationals now move on to the western conference semi-finals.
