Jr. hockey wrap-up – March 16, 2019

The London Nationals defeated the LeSalle Vipers 2-1 in Game 3 on Saturday.

Both teams failed to score any goals in the first period.

In the second period, the Nationals' Wes Dobbin finally scored a goal but was quickly followed by a goal from LaSalle's Gianluca Pizzuto. The game fell at a tie until George Diaco scored a goal for London, pushing them into the lead by one goal and giving the Nationals the win..

Nationals' Goaltender Zachary Springer saved 20 out of 21 shots on net.

The puck is set to drop on Tuesday at 7 p.m. for Game 4 against LeSalle.
