Knights sweep Sting a second time in back-to-back series

The Sarnia Sting couldn’t get much going at either end of the ice in a 4-1 loss in London Saturday night.

The Knights struggled early in the first period but came out on top for a sixth consecutive win at Budweiser Gardens.

This was the first London-Sarnia New Year’s back-to-back since 2019-2020 season.

The Knights now have a nine-point lead over Owen Sound in the OHL’s Midwest Division standings.

Ryan Mast scored his first and the only goal of the game during the second period.

The Sarnia Sting are back in action Friday, January 6 when the club hosts the Windsor Spitfires - coverage on CHOK (1070 A.M./ 103.9 F.M.) begins at 6:30 p.m.
