Crime Stoppers Looks For More Help In North Wellington

Crime Stoppers is making a push for more help in the north end of Wellington County.

During this week's Mount Forest District Chamber of Commerce annual general meeting, Sara Bowers-Peter of Crime Stoppers Guelph-Wellington told the chamber that there is crime in north Wellington, and people need to do something about it by anonymously reaching out to Crime Stoppers.

Bowers-Peter says they are looking for board members, volunteers, and people who want to sponsor program.

They are also encouraging more people to contact Crime Stoppers with information.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
