Toddler Airlifted After Dog Bite in Southgate

A two year old child is out of hospital after a dog bit her face during a visit in Southgate .

Grey County OPP were called to the home on Highway 6 in Southgate on Saturday evening.

The little girl and her mother were visiting friends, when the family pet bit the child on the head .

The dog is a large, blind mixed breed.

The child was taken to local hospital, but then airlifted to London with non life threatening injuries.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
