United Way Meets About North Perth Social Service Issues

United Way Perth-Huron is hosting a public meeting tomorrow in North Perth.

Executive Director Ryan Erb explains they're looking for input from the North Perth community on how the community and United Way can work together to address social service issues in the community.

Erb adds, "We do research through the Social Research and Planning Council, so of course we have an understanding of the region as a whole, but what we'd like to do is to work with local partners to identify how that research connects with the challenges that they're facing on the ground, and then build a strategy from the ground up."

The meeting will be held from noon til 1:30 Wednesday at Trillium Mutual Insurance Company on Mitchell Road South in Listowel. They ask that people register today so they'll know how many people to expect for lunch.
