Grey OPP Respond to 26 weekend Collisions

A busy weekend for Grey County OPP, as officers responded to 26 motor vehicle collision in their area.

As a result 4 drivers were charged with careless driving.

Nine of the crashes were deer related.

Police say a collision Saturday morning on Highway 10 near Road 130 in Grey highlands involved 4 vehicles, and put a Brampton woman in hospital with non life threatening injuries. .

Police remind motorists to prepare themselves and their vehicles for safe winter driving.

Drivers should slow down and adjust to current road and weather conditions . That means staying a alert, and leaving extra space between vehicles.

You also need to avoid sudden braking, accelerating or steering on slippery roads.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
