Bridges To Better Business In Central Huron

The tenth annual Bridges to Better Business event is being held in Clinton today.

The event is sponsored by the Ministry of Economic Development, Trade and Employment and Co-ordinator Alison Lobb points out ,while it's the tenth event, it's the first one to be held in Clinton.

The event opened at 1pm this afternoon with guest speaker Gair Maxwell talking about branding with distinction at the Reach Centre.

The trade show continues at the Central Huron Community Centre and is open to the public at 7pm tonight.

Lobb says they have 27 exhibit booths highlighting business in the Central Huron area and people will be very surprised at the range of businesses that operate in their back yard.

Lobb also points out they have several door prizes and a grand prize worth $500.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
