Bruce Power Tests Emergency Alert Sirens

Bruce Power will conduct a full volume test of it's nuclear emergency public alerting sirens this morning.

Sirens within 3 km of the Bruce Power site will operate simultaneously for several minutes between 10am and 11am this morning.

The sirens are part of Bruce Power's communications system to notify nearby residents of a nuclear emergency.

Bruce Power and the Municipality of Kincardine's Community Emergency Management Co-ordinator are holding the test.
