Building Activity Varies In Midwestern Ontario

There's still plenty of building activity in Wellington North.

This year’s total is $17.2-million, compared to $15.9-million in 2013. However, this year’s total is still running about $3.5-million behind the same period for 2012.

Meanwhile in Meaford, the total value of building starts as of the end of October is more than $1-million behind the level for the same ten months of last year.

As of October 31, Meaford's building department had issued 227 permits, with a total value of about $9.99-million.

During the same ten months of last year, Meaford issued 234 permits worth about $11.71-million.
