Huron Manufacturing Awards

The Huron Manufacturing Association handed outs its Awards for Excellence last night. It was the Ninth Annual Awards Dinner, and was held at the Hensall and District Community Centre.

Blyth Farm Cheese is the Manufacturer of the Year.

Blyth Farm Cheese's Joost VanDorp also shared the Junior Manufacturer of the Year Award with Brett and Brian Landsborough of Maelstrom Winery.

Ron and Ruth Schefter won the Chairman's Award.

The Innovative Product Award went to Iceculture of Hensall and the Employer of the Year is the Hensall District Co-op.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
