OFSC Warns Sledders To Keep Snowmobiles Parked

Despite all the snow in some regions, the Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs is cautioning sledders to keep the snowmobile parked for now.

The OFSC says even a short ride can be very dangerous right now. The ground, waterways, and swamps are not yet frozen.

There's not enough of a snow base to protect against terrain irregularities, or obstacles on the ground. As well, trail grooming has not started, and none of the OFSC trails are open.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
