Officals Say Highways Are Partly Snow Covered

It's an icy drive this morning, according to regional highway patrols.

According to MTO officials visibility is good in most areas with the exception of the Bruce Peninsula where there is a snowsquall warning in effect.

Highway 9, 21, 4 and 8 are slippery in sections according to Ontario's interactive highway map, seen here.

Meantime, Bruce County is reporting snowcovered sections of roadway in the Lucknow, Kincardine and Teeawater area, along with Paisley, Port Elgin, Chesley and Tara.

Grey County officials say there are some icy sections of roadway near Owen Sound, Chatsworth, Dundalk and Flesherton.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
