Perth OPP Launch "Stop and Look" Campaign

Perth County OPP officers will be conducting their "Stop and Look" campaign again this week.

Officers will focus extra attention on intersection-related offences where drivers fail to stop or yield where required.

There have been a number of collisions in recent weeks at stop-sign-controlled intersection, and police say several had the potential for serious injuries or fatalities.

There are over eleven hundred intersections within Perth County and the majority of them rely on stop signs as a traffic control device.

A reminder from the OPP states that you're four times more likely to have a crash when you’re distracted while driving.
