North Perth Loses Funding

Ontario Municipal Partnership Funding is down over 18 per cent for North Perth.

The municipality will receive 1.7 million dollars in 2015.

That's down almost 400-thousand dollars from 2014.

In a report to council, Treasurer France Hale says a cut to Perth County's funding will also impact all North Perth residents and business.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
