West Grey mayor Kevin Eccles believes his experience is what's needed to lead a council with many new faces.
Eccles has been on council since 2003 and was warden in 2008 and 2009.
A warden will be elected and the new council sworn in at Grey County council's inaugural meeting next Tuesday evening.
