Bruce Power Signs Deal With B&W Canada

Bruce Power has signed a $300-million agreement with Cambridge-based B&W Canada.

The deal will see the Cambridge company supply important services for all Bruce Power units, to meet the company’s ongoing operational needs.

The contract includes engineering, tooling development, skilled trades training and site work execution.

Bruce Power President and CEO Duncan Hawthorne says the agreement is a win-win for all involved, by securing jobs and injecting millions into Ontario’s economy.

B&W Canada and Bruce Power participated in an official signing ceremony today in Cambridge which was attended by Ontario’s Minister of Energy The Honorable Bob Chiarelli, Cambridge MPP Kathryn McGarry, community leaders and staff.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
