West Grey Police Host Toy And Food Drive

The West Grey Police Service is in the Christmas spirit. They have launched their tenth annual Christmas Toy and Food Drive.

Donations of non-perishable food and new unwrapped toys can be dropped off at:

  • The Durham Police Station
  • Ayton Community Sub-Station
  • Granny’s General Store in Neustadt and Ayton
  • Village Creations in Neustadt
  • McLean’s Home Hardware in Durham
  • Durham Medical Clinic
  • West Grey Municipal Office
  • New Orlean’s Pizza in Durham
Members of the West Grey Police Service will also be collecting toys and food donations at the following locations:
  • November 28 to 30 at Christmas in the Country, Sulpher Springs Conservation Area
  • Saturday, December 6 after the Durham Santa Claus Parade at the L&M in Durham from 1pm-3pm
  • Sunday, December 7 at Christmas in the Village, Neustadt
  • Saturday, December 13 at the Hanover Walmart location
Toys and food collected will be delivered for distribution to agencies in the community who have identified families in need. Cash donations can be mailed to:

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
