Hunting Gear Stolen In Grey Highlands

Grey County OPP are trying to track down a thief who made off with some hunting gear from a rural property on Grey Rd. 40 east of the Euhprasia-Holland Townline in Grey Highlands.

Police say sometime between 10:30am on December 1 and 4pm on December 3, two game cameras, a 'Wildgame' and a 'Moultree', as well as two ladder-type tree stands were taken from the bush.

What the thief didn't know was that there was a third camera, which captured a male walking through the area during the time of the theft.

The suspect is described as Caucasian, approximately 35-45 years of age, wearing a short camouflage jacket, orange vest and ball cap, black pants, black boots and black gloves with reflective material. He was carrying a long gun during the theft.

Police continue to investigate.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
