New Website For Grey Bruce Youth Mental Health

A new website has been launched that provides tools and resources to support mental health wellness among young people in Grey Bruce.

The site is called WeCareGreyBruce.ca.

Project coordinator Ann-Marie Deas says troubled youth often look to parents or friends for support. They're called Natural Helpers.

Deas says the website gives them the needed tools.

WeCareGreyBruce is a partnership of more than a dozen community agencies, area school boards and police services.

"Our acronym for We Care, the Care part is Connect, Ask, Reach and Engage young people so that's really what the website is about and what our project is about is helping those Natural Helpers to do those things," says Deas.
