Southampton Collision Victim Still Critical

One person remains in critical condition in hospital in London after a two-vehicle crash near Southampton yesterday morning.

The collision was just after 9:30am at the intersection of Bruce Rd. 3 and Carlisle St. Saugeen Shores police say a car traveling north on Carlisle St. was struck by a dump truck that was traveling west on Bruce Rd. 3.

The driver of the car was rushed to Southampton Hospital, and then transferred to London. No name has been released, but the individual is listed in critical but stable condition today.

Saugeen Shores police are still investigating, and say no charges have been laid at this point.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
