Southgate Wants Court Costs from Lystek Challenge

Southgate is continuing to press a local citizens group for about $41,000 in legal costs.

The SPIRG group unsuccessfully challenged a Southgate building permit allowing a controversial recycling company, Lystek International, to build in the Dundalk ECO Industrial Park.

Council agreed to have the executive of SPIRG come to an open meeting of Southgate council to discuss its plans for paying the court-ordered costs.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
