Grey Bruce Youth Film Festival Seeks Submissions

Bruce and Grey Libraries are calling on young filmmakers for submissions for the 2015 Grey Bruce Youth Film Festival.

Winning films will be shown on the big screen at the Owen Sound Galaxy Cinema.

Prizes include $150., a GoPro Camera or tickets to the Starlight Film Festival.

Some of the winning submissions will also be screened at the Meaford International Film Festival.

Grades 7 to 12 students can enter short animated or live action films of a maximum of ten minutes in length .

The deadline for submissions to the contest is March 27th, 2015.

Winning films will be screened On April 20th.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
