New Look Huron Economic Development Board

Huron County council will fill the last three positions on its new Economic Development Board after the election of county Warden tomorrow afternoon.

C-A-O Brenda Orchard points out this board differs from county economic development committees in the past in that it has private sector representation on the board.

She believes that will prove very valuable in moving forward.

The last three people to be named to the board are the new warden, the past warden and one councillor.

The council steering committee will name that councillor after the Warden is elected tomorrow afternoon.   Three municipal leaders are seeking the position for 2015.
