There will be a celebration of local literary talent in Owen Sound Saturday.
The Ginger Press Bookstore is holding its annual Author's Open House from 11am to 3pm. Owner Maryann Thomas says at least 15 local authors will be on hand.
People can chat with the authors and come away with a signed book.
Thomas says an autographed copy always provides special meaning.
"When you know the author has actually held the book in their hands, that's a magical addition to the value of the book," she says.
