Council Considers Uses For Hanover Homecoming Surplus

Hanover Homecoming 2014 ended up with an over $20,000 surplus.
Council is expected to approve suggestions on how to disburse the extra money at tonight's meeting.
The Homecoming committee suggests $11,000 go toward community projects such as a new roof saw for the fire department, furnishing the new Event Amenities Trailor, and a Commemorative Engraved Homecoming rock at Heritage square.
The committee would like $6,300 to be divided between community organizations such as  Figure Skating, Gymnastics, Hanover Minor Hockey, Community Living, Big Sisters and Big Brothers, The Kinsmen, and the Ag Society.
