United Way Receives Bruce Power Donation

Bruce Power recently donated $100,000 to United Way of Bruce-Grey with money raised at the annual Supply Chain conference and golf tournament earlier in the year.

The employee payroll deduction plan also has raised an additional $102,000 this year.

The Supply Chain donation is earmarked for United Way of Bruce Grey’s backpack program, while the employee contributions go to various projects in the supported communities.

“The Bruce Power support means that we can do what we need to do because it is so significant in terms of the dollar value, but also in terms of the consistency and dependability for us,” said Francesca Dobbyn, Executive Director of United Way of Bruce Grey.

“We know it’s there and we know we have the ongoing support of Bruce Power in all the projects that we do.”
