Grey County OPP Help With Holiday Collection In Flesherton

Grey County OPP officers and staff have given the food and toy collection effort in the Flesherton area a boost.

Members donated toys, gift cards and non-perishable food items as part of their annual Detachment Christmas Toy Drive.

All the donated items were delivered Wednesday to members of the Flesherton Community Love Committee.

That group provides assistance to families in need, primarily in the Municipality of Grey Highlands.

Inspector Michael Guilfoyle, detachment commander of Grey County OPP stated, "There are many families within Grey County that struggle financially at Christmas. This is a time when we can come together and assist some families and their children who are less fortunate than ourselves."
