OPP Charge Man After Chesley Incident

A Brockton man appears in court today after a window-smashing incident in Chesley led to more serious charges.

South Bruce OPP received a report early yesterday morning that windows had been smashed on two vehicles parked on 1st Ave. S and 2nd Ave. SW in Chesley.

A suspect was identified and taken into custody without incident.

A 32-year-old man has been charged with theft under $5,000, two counts of mischief under $5,000, and trespassing.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
