Gun Left At Meaford Thrift Store

The Cat's Meow Thrift Store received an unusual donation this week when a gun was left on at the front door.

The bolt action rifle was discovered by an employee and turned over to police.

Police are asking anyone with knowledge of the firearm to give them a call.

It had G-R-B-S-A and C-O 1916 stamped on it. It also had the letters S-H-T L-E on it.

Police say residents who possess firearms they not longer wish to keep should contact police about disposal.
