Huron Township And Ripley History Book On Sale

The latest history book for Huron Township and Ripley was released at a launch party at the Ripley Arena last night.

Families and Farms of Huron Township and Ripley 2015 is now available for purchase in celebration of the upcoming Ripley Reunion.

The book was produced by the History Book Committee in partnership with the Royal Canadian Legion Ripley branch and the Ontario Trillium Foundation.

You can buy the book at 44 Queen St. in Ripley today between 1pm and 8pm or tomorrow between 10am and 2pm.

It will also be available at that location on December 29, December 30, and January 3.

Only 1,000 books were printed and many are already spoken for.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

As part of a partnership between the Sarnia Legion Branch 62 and City of Sarnia, an unveiling ceremony will be held at the corner of Christina Street and Wellington Street on Sunday, June 7, at 2 p.m.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
