Bruce Power Report Generous Donations

The success and generosity of Bruce Power is evident in the company's end-of-the-year report.

The company invested about $1.5 million in events and organizations through its Sponsorship and Community Investment Program. Included in that is the multi-year donation of $2 million to support health care infrastructure improvements throughout the Grey-Bruce region.

Bruce Power also awarded $50,000 in post-secondary scholarships to 100 students from Bruce, Grey and Huron counties. Libraries in Bruce, Grey and Huron counties got iPads that were donated by the company.

And site tours were very popular in July and August. The company reintroduced site tours for the first time since 2001, and nearly 2,000 people took part. They had to add extra buses to meet the demand.
