Huron County Ask for Public Input on New Food Charter

Consultant Joan Brady has been hired by the Huron Food Action Network to put together a Food Charter for Huron County.

Brady describes the charter as a vision for our food future. She explains they started holding consultations with Huron County residents back in April.

Brady says the results of those consultations will become a tool that will assist in the formation of policy for food in Huron County.

She has now released a draft of that summary and they're asking community residents to read that and tell them if that accurately reflects what they want to see in a Food Charter.

The draft can be found on the Food Charter for Huron County web site. Brady adds with comments can contact her at jbrady@hay.net.
