Habitat For Humanity Exeter Home Nears Completion

The Habitat For Humanity build in Exeter is another step closer to completion.

Seventeen South Huron District High School students have built the house from the ground up. Just before Christmas, they finished putting on the siding.

The roof trusses were put up by a contractor, along with the sheeting and shingling. The house is now closed in and ready for wiring, plumbing, insulation and drywall. The selected family hopes to move in later this spring.

Meanwhile, the Habitat For Humanity Huron Board is planning a spring build in Seaforth. A date will be announced soon for a public meeting in Seaforth to recruit volunteers, contractors and churches to be involved.
