New Year's Hike In The Bayfield River Valley

Members of the Bayfield River Valley Trail Association are inviting Bluewater residents to join them, the mayor and councillors for a levee hike on New Year's Day.

Spokesperson Dave Gillians explains the trail is about 1 km long and fairly flat, so it's an easy walk.

He adds the event is more a chance to get some exercise and socialize with the new mayor and some of the councillors.

The levee hike will start at 1pm on New Year's Day at the trail behind the Varna Complex.
