Blowing Snow This Afternoon And Evening

The weather radar is showing streamers still cutting across Hwy. 21 between Goderich and Port Elgin.

With the amount of snow that fell overnight into this morning, blowing snow can still be an issue for drivers across Huron, Bruce, Grey, Perth and parts of Wellington County this evening.  New weather radar images so the number of streamers growing across Huron and Perth.  And still that thick squall off Lake Huron punching through the Kincardine and Saugeen Shores area.

Highway 21 is closed from County Road 25 (just north of Goderich) to County Road 86 at Amberley. Highway 6 from Ferndale to Wiarton is also closed.

Other major routes are track-bare with slippery, snowpacked and drifted sections. Secondary roads are snowcovered and heavily drifted.  Visibility is very poor at times in blowing snow.  Some areas in the slow-moving and unpredictable snowstreamers will get more snow tonight and into tomorrow.
