Stormy Weather Forces Friday Road Closures

The snowfall and blowing snow across the region is forcing the closure of several roads.

As winds content to blow today, snow squalls are expected to affect the region again.

Snowfall amounts of 10 to 15 cm are possible.

Poor driving conditions are expected to continue with local blowing snow and periods of snow ahead of the cold front.

Driving conditions are dangerous, with near zero visibility from blowing snow and bursts of heavy snow.

Lake-effect flurries and and snow squalls will affect some areas southeast of Lake Huron and Georgian Bay through Friday, Friday night, and Saturday.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
