Ausable Bayfield Conservationist of the Year Award

The Ausable Bayfield Conservation Authority is accepting nominations for its Conservationist of the Year Award.

General Manager Brian Horner explains the nomination can be for an individual, a group, or a company that has demonstrated an effort to work for soil, water and living things in the watershed.

Horner says the ABCA has been presenting the award since 1984 and it's their way of recognizing the efforts of conservation-minded people in the community.

The deadline for nominations is the end of this month and application forms can be found on the ABCA web site.

The award is presented at the Ausable Bayfield Conservation Authority's annual dinner in March.
