Custom ATV Stolen in Howick

A customized and very identifyable ATV has been stolen from a property in Howick Township.

It's a 2012 Can-Am ATV, and was reported missing by the owner on Sunday.   It was taken from a detached garage on Orange Hill Road.    Police say it appears someone got in through an unsecure main bay door;  found the keys to the ATV in the garage cupboards;   and drove it away.

The stolen ATV is described as a black and yellow four-wheel drive 2012 Can-Am,  with 27 inch Swamp Light tires and chrome rims.   It has an estimated value of $11,000.

Huron OPP are also investigating the

theft of a snowmobile from a farm on Blyth Road near Sharpes Creek Line.   The main door of a locked shed was forced open, and the snowmobile was driven away.    It's a black, 2010 Polaris 550, valued at about $6,000.

Anyone with information on either of these thefts is asked to contact Huron OPP or Crime Stoppers.
