Howick Man Faces Drug And Weapon Charges

A man from Howick Township is facing weapons and drug charges.

OPP officers with a search warrant entered a home on Fordwich Line of Howick yesterday. They seized two improperly stored rifles, along with a quantity of suspected marijuana.

The 43-year-old resident is charged with trafficking firearms, unauthorized possession of a firearm, careless storage of a firearm, possession of marihuana, and uttering threats.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
